Old Key West is located in the Downtown Disney Resort Area and is actually on one of Disney’s golf courses.  The resort is quite large and some people prefer to have a car in order to travel to the hospitality house, main pool, etc. 

Rooms available:

Studio:  An oversized hotel room with 2 queen beds, a wet-bar with mini refrigerator, and a balcony.

One bedroom:  A much larger unit featuring a master bedroom with king sized bed and deluxe bathroom with whirlpool tub.  This unit also features a full kitchen and pull out couch.  These units also feature a balcony.  These units have a washer and dryer.

Two bedroom:  Same unit as the one bedroom but with 2nd bedroom which includes 2 queen sized beds and a second bathroom.

(dedicated 2 bedrooms and lock offs are available)  These units also have a washer and dryer.

Three bedroom villa:  This unit sleeps up to 12 people and covers two stories.  These unit are a whopping 2265 square feet!  The master bedroom and bath are very similar to the one and two bedrooms.  On the second floor you will find 2 bedrooms with 2 queen sized beds and private bathrooms.  The large living area features a pull out couch and the dining area has a table that seats 8.  These units also have a balcony and washer/dryer.

The table service restaurant offered at Old Key West is called Olivia’s.  This laid back, airy dining spot offers a relaxing, casual atmosphere and some unique food choices. 

Olivia’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.  You can make advanced reservation priority seatings for this Olivia’s and it is recommended during busier seasons to avoid a long wait.

There are a couple of pool bar type dining locations at the main pool and the turtle pond area pool.  The type of food is counter service food such as nachos, burgers and sandwiches.  These locations also offer icecream and drinks.  The quick service venue at the main pool is called Good’s food to Go and is across from the main pool.  The location at the Turtle Pond pool is called the Turtle Shack and is open seasonally.

The Gurgling Suitcase is also across from the main pool and is a cute, airy bar area serving up spirits until midnight.

Conch Flats General Store also offers some food choices (to prepare yourself) including bread, snacks, drinks, and frozen meals.

POOLS

Old Key West offers 4 pools (one main pool with a water slide located near the hospitality house and 3 quiet pools scattered around the resort).  Each pool offers a hot tub and lounge chairs.  There are also towels offered at each pool.  The main pool also offers a children’s pool and a sauna.  If you are staying in a studio and would like to use laundry facilities they are available for no charge at all pool areas.

Lifeguards are on duty during pool hours at the main pool only.  The quiet pools do not have lifeguards so keep this in mind when sending children to the pool. 

You can rent a variety of boats from Hank’s Rent and Return which is located across from the main pool.

The arcade is located in this area also and is called the Electric Eel. 

Near the main pool and even some of the quiet pools you will find activities such as shuffle board, playgrounds and sandy areas for building sand castles.  There are also tennis courts available for guest’s use and basketball nets up in the parking area for the hospitality house.
